Acceptance is the value handshake. Value can be delivered incrementally (adaptive) or at the end (predictive); quality is built in along the way, not inspected in afterwards.

Requirements, Scope & Acceptance

  • Requirements quality: clear, complete, consistent, testable, traceable.
  • Definition of Done = the bar for "complete & releasable".
  • Acceptance criteria = conditions for the customer to accept.
